SHADES BY MEERA

Welcome to my writing palette!

My name ‘Meera’ reveals most of my character, my life has flowed like a stream peacefully and been calm as “stability” is what I like. I have always spoken and written my thoughts whenever I felt so affected by what I saw, as it supported the productivity and efficiency of my writing skills. Believing in spontaneous results which are honest.

I’m amazed today. As much as my heart wrenches for every child lost in war, I cannot unsee the political motives, terrorism and fear which fuelled it because only if that is taken in account can any resolve be reached. That is how world works, at least that is what I have seen, except when…

Happy Independence Day to India, that is Bharat.

Being a polity student, one thing each of us gains is gratitude for Bharat with every line and chapter that comes our way. Not only the outlines and actions of the freedom struggle but the feelings that fueled them have much more power of expression. Settling was a word that hardly materialized in those times…

This is the collection of the articles and blogs I’ve written out of spontaneous and random thoughts which made sense to a greater extent as I started writing them. They are majorly political and ideological understanding of news and happenings, also interpretations of my recent sketches and paintings. The issues I consider important for writing are a few, the ones written upon hence have deep dedication involved. My written pieces are actions, not an activity, they are impulsive not weighed by knowledge I already have. I’m glad you landed here, and it will be amazing to share thoughts of different minds !

Old lady, do we know you at 75?

Our old lady turned 75 today and it’s beautiful to be celebrating something bigger than us, something every Indian resonates with for a change. When I read about our lady’s history, it tells a thousand different stories in a thousand different ways in a thousand different dialects. Something which fascinates and pains at the same…

Right to celebrate? Always.

As I woke up and reached for the newspaper today, it being so special and editorials are treasure on such days.It indeed was filled by the name of Shri Ram but not all spoke praises which I had expected but the extreme agitation was out of bounds, those words felt like little needles and profanities…

Tibet- The dark reasons…

It includes deadly plots, which it shouldn’t have. It includes conspiracies, economic ambitions, which it shouldn’t include. It includes murders in masses, which should have been out of question! Because it is Tibet we’re talking about, it is Buddhism we’re referring to and it is the world’s forbidden city we’re calling out to.
